4Sevens Quark Mini AA Flashlight

4Sevens Flashlights recently introduced the high end AA flashlight Quark Mini AA. It is a tiny little guy at only 3 inches in length and .70 inches in diameter. The light is IPX8 rated so is considered waterproof. The light modes are controled by a twist head so no tail cap switch on this one.

The flashlight can be operated with one hand and comes lubed from the factory making it very easy to control. The aluminum body two piece design further simplifies the operation as well as making the light very durable and reliable. 4Sevens claims 90OFT (Actual Out The Front) lumens on max brightness with a minimum run time of 1.3 hours. The Quark Mini AA flashlight has thre main light modes low, medium, and high. These modes are controled by tighening and loosening the light head. There are also three hidden levels SOS, strobe and beacon which are controled by swithching through the main modes twice eliminating any non intentional turning on.

The light can be run on any chemistry AA battery including Protected AW 14500 Li-Ion batteries. Thei Li-Ion battery increased the power to 180+ lumens. It is recommended to keep the light in hand while in the HIGH mode and using the Li-Ion batteries as it needs to dissipate the heat.

Wow!! Just got back from the 2011 Shot Show held every year at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas. We saw every type of gun and assaualt weapon available in the market place today.
